Job Title: Marketing Intern (Marketing Department)

Rise is looking to hire an Interactive Marketing Intern. We are looking for a hard working and dedicated individual who is excited about becoming a part of a rapidly expanding company in a booming industry. The Interactive Marketing Intern would assist the marketing team in analyzing current marketing initiatives, developing and implementing new initiatives, as well as conducting work on all aspects of the sales cycle.  A position with Rise provides students and recent graduates with relevant experience in a dynamic work environment.  Talented individuals who are eager to take on exciting and challenging responsibilities will find an internship with Rise to be very rewarding.

*The objective of the tasks that the intern will be assigned will be to promote the Rise Interactive brand and its sales initiatives.  Generally, this position will not involve tasks marketing to current Rise clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

An Interactive Marketing Intern must have superior analytical, organizational and time management skills. The Interactive Marketing Intern will display a service-oriented, positive attitude towards potential clients, current clients and colleagues, coupled with an appreciation of business realities. A marketing background and a basic understanding of HTML, CSS and FTP is preferred.

All applicants must be enrolled in a fully accredited college or university in order to be considered. Internships must be taken for class credit. A commitment of a minimum of 20 hours a week is required although full time is recommended. Only serious candidates need apply!

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist and execute internal online marketing strategy, including but not limited to interactive search engine marketing, search engine optimization, affiliate marketing and proposal development
  • Assist in the management of assigned potential clients.  Work entails analysis of existing accounts, organizing leads in our CRM system, follow up with potential customers, and determining recommendations to improve performance
  • Assist in writing and posting of blogs on the Rise Interactive site
  • Evaluate, build and maintain relationships in the local/national online marketing arena.
  • Write proposals and other strategic documents with minimal edits
  • Assist in maintaining and updating Rise Interactive’s Web site
