Job Title: Senior Internet Marketing Consultant

QUALIFICATIONS:

The Senior Internet Marketing Consultant is responsible for overseeing all facets of his/her team and their accounts. This includes ensuring the development of impactful Internet marketing programs that improve our clients' visibility as well as meet their return on investment goals. The Senior Internet Marketing Consultant is ultimately accountable for clients' satisfaction with the Internet Marketing programs.

The Senior Internet Marketing Consultant is responsible for providing senior leadership and input into the strategic development of their team's accounts. This includes educating clients on industry trends, tactics, and conveying developments and results. In addition to this, the Senior Internet Marketing Consultant will be working with their team to develop specific ideas that should be implemented for their clients. The Senior Internet Marketing Consultant will have superior organizational skills and time management skills as s/he will be expected to manage the deliverables and scope all of our existing client work.

It is the expectation that the Senior Internet Marketing Consultant will also provide a mentoring role for their team. As part of this, the Senior Internet Marketing Consultant is responsible for identifying gaps in team skills and working with them to close those gaps. In addition to this, they will also need to help their teams develop their skill set. The person must possess a service-oriented, positive attitude towards clients and colleagues, coupled with an appreciation of business realities and achieving deadlines.

CLIENT SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop relationships with clients; and builds and nurtures those relationships.
  • Manage tactical initiatives for the Client's business; maintains a focus that the deliverables and plans are in line with client's long-term goals
  • Create proposals, presentations and regular reporting, and other documents for client use in the evaluation and approval of Internet marketing plans/programs
  • Coordinate client / team meetings, including project kick-off and periodic update meetings with the client
  • Communicate regularly with client on status, timeline, budget, deliverables, performance reporting, competitive intelligence analysis and other follow-up items
  • Work with members of the team to develop recommendations and tactical Internet Marketing plans
  • Develop presentations and other materials needed for client and internal meetings
  • Ensure the timely renewal of client Internet marketing programs to avoid any interruption in client service
  • Manage multiple channels as needed (SEO, PPC, display, email, web development, affiliate, etc.)
  • Provide project management on all projects within the account team
  • Act as quality control for overall account output
  • Increase account size in revenue potential through proactive up-selling opportunities
  • Facilitate/lead weekly status calls
  • Anticipate client questions and provide thought out answers/solutions
  • Articulate complex ideas/problems and to clients
  • Always think about how we can better serve our clients and grow their business
  • Go above and beyond the call of duty to delight the client and deliver excellent service

TEAM MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and manage account team in the delivery of all client programs and services
  • Work with team to ensure that all client deliverables are met and client expectations are exceeded. This includes ensuring internal processes are followed, and that campaigns are being actively monitored and enhanced.
  • Be an active participant in the retention, development, and recruiting
  • Suggest workshops and training opportunities for team members
  • Conduct weekly team meetings to discuss account status and updates
  • Work with team members to discuss and address client challenges that arise

REQUIRED SKILLS:
