As a Senior Advisor on Rise’s Advisory Board, David Friedman provides guidance on business strategy and client success.
Friedman has more than 25 years of experience helping brands achieve digital marketing success. His extensive marketing career includes serving as president of marketing for Sears Holdings, where he oversaw both the Sears and Kmart marketing divisions including customer and supplier loyalty programs, branding, market research, advertising and promotion, public relations, and creative services. Before his role at Sears, Friedman spent 11 years in executive roles at Razorfish, one of the world's largest interactive agencies.
Most recently, Friedman has served as Founder and CEO of AutonomyWorks, a company that takes on organizations’ marketing operations tasks, enabling them to focus on strategy. The organization has a mission to identify, enable, and empower people with autism to provide turnkey solutions for its clients.
Friedman earned his MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and his bachelor’s degree in economics from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.
