Rise Celebrates Its Annual Employee Appreciation Day

Last month, Risers headed to the Chicago suburbs to spend a sunny day on the Fox River for a luau-themed annual employee appreciation day.

“Rise Day” is one of our favorite traditions at Rise Interactive, and we look forward to it all year. It’s a time to relax with colleagues, get to know one another outside of work, and enjoy each other’s company.

We kicked off our luau and beach theme a little early, with a variety of games throughout the week, including an office-wide rubber ducky scavenger hunt. The winners earned coveted Rise Day perks, such as the opportunity to be first in line for a boat ride or to DJ a few songs.

At Rise Day, we went boating, wake-boarded and waterskied, played yard games, sang some amazing karaoke, and cooked out (in true luau fashion, this included a pig roast). Most importantly, we had time to bond with our co-workers.

As Rise grows, it gets harder to interact with our colleagues on a day-to-day basis. Gathering together outside of the office is important in keeping our culture alive and providing an opportunity for everyone to kick back and enjoy each others’ company.

Our founder and CEO, Jon Morris, shared this piece of wisdom in a Rise Day toast, “You can’t provide remarkable experiences without remarkable people.”

We’re proud of our Rise culture and know our people are one of our key assets. By making time to focus on our employees, we are able to grow stronger relationships within the company. This helps us work as one cohesive team and enables us to deliver the best results for our clients.

Every year, we look forward to spending this time with our colleagues and friends. It’s an important aspect of our unique employee culture and one of the many reasons we are all proud to call ourselves Risers.
