Recently, our team at Rise partnered with American Egg Board (AEB), an organization which connects America’s egg farmers to consumers, to redesign its Incredible Egg website. AEB sought to provide customers with a best-in-class site experience regardless of how they were interacting with the organization; a challenge we eagerly accepted. Using our data-informed approach to design, we developed a strategy that would create a consistent, user-friendly experience and ultimately help AEB reach its business goals.
We first analyzed the brand’s existing website and found that its recipe pages accounted for nearly half of all site visits. However, users were having to click through as many as five pages to get to their desired recipe. Our response? We saw an opportunity to enhance the user experience by centering the website’s new design around its frequently trafficked recipe content.
Marrying our knowledge of user experience with SEO best practices, we helped AEB create a mobile-friendly, responsive site that streamlined navigation and made content discovery quick and easy, regardless of the viewing device. The project’s data-first approach has received industry recognition including a MediaPost OMMA Award for website excellence, an Internet Advertising Competition Award, Gold in AVA’s Digital Awards, and Gold in the Marcom Awards.
